Starting from 25 April 2022, when you receive a call from someone in prison you will hear a pre-recorded message which will give you a choice about whether to accept the call or not. Read more
Visitors to prisons will no longer be required to take Covid tests from Friday 1 April. HMPPS is making this change because regular Covid testing in the wider community is coming to an end, and testing kits will no longer be provided for free in the community after 31 March. Read more
